Once Upon a Time

Temporary Update:  Right now I am in the USA.

Hello!  Apparently you've come to read a little bit about me.  I am Ben and I am an American citizen living near Melbourne, Australia.  I'm 30 years old and I don't think I have to tell you that I am a guy.  Here is where things get fun.  I'm also more gay than bisexual (which I will admit that I find a lot of women attractive, sexy and stuff).

I was born in the USA and have lived most of my life in the Houston, Texas area.  I have also lived in New York City, upstate New York, Sydney, Melbourne and Montreal.  I am absolutely fluent in English and absolutely not-so-fluent in Spanish.  (If someone needs to communicate with me in Spanish, I can understand a lot of it).  I have been to many of the states in the  USA, Australia, The Philippines, Mexico, Canada, the UK and a few other places.

I am a non-smoker, drug-free and a recreational/social drinker.  I don't like drugs and it irritates me to be around people who do them.  I pollute my brain and body with alcohol enough!  In my spare time, I dabble a lot in music and I love the outdoors.  My favorite place to just chill out and do nothing is the beach.  Oh, and I hate eating seafood though I will if I have to.  I don't have hang-ups regarding race, religion and such.  We're all on this planet together.  We should be able to get along, embrace differences and live in harmony.  Oh that note, I do not follow any religion though my background is tangled in the threads of Christianity (Catholicism and being an uninterested member of the Mormon faith).

I am your main host for my personal podcast "idioPod".  If you'd like to know more about that, feel free to go to the podcast page and have a listen.  I have studied finance/economics, mathematics and nursing.  I'm a force not to be taken lightly yet I will admit it to the world I am quite lazy, laid back and indecisive.  I moved to Australia in 2001 and have been back and forth from the USA since.  I have spent more time in Australia since 2007. 

Future

I am always planning.  I value my career as much as a lazy person can which means that I am always striving to advance myself and my career.  I take my time doing it though. I'd really like to visit Peru, India and really any place with mountains.
