idioPod 79: Ramble Rumble

| | Comments (2)

My rambling can stir up a rumble...

This podcast episode has too much to be themed so I named it "Ramble Rumble". I talk about school, the status of my relationship, coming or going, my love for American mustard, Miracle Whip and sliced cheese, my Facebook is at http://www.facebook.com/theonlyben and just general life around here in Melbourne. I talk a little bit about my dreams and also about my weekend plans and the religious people in Texas and why it deters me from going back.

Also, my local Texas number doesn't work anymore. I cancelled my subscription.

This was an interesting episode for me personally because I've also wrestled with the idea of going back to the U.S. There are pros and cons. But to me the cons (the poor economy, lack of marriage rights, the influence of the religious right, etc.) keep me safely on this side of the border. Would the degree you get in Australia transfer to the U.S.? I'm a little worried about you financially. It's probably none of my business but going from a relationship with a wealthy partner to being on your own could be a big shock. Would it be better financially to stay where you are or to move to Houston? Sometimes it helps to make a big list of pros and cons with point weights for each.
