idioPod 33: Meat Pie
Ah yes, a whole podcast about one of my favorite Australian foods, meat pies. OK, maybe not. I don't think I could do that to you. I do talk an awful lot about meat in general. It's one of those things I love to hate but like it anyway... sorta like booze. I eat it anyway. Because I know if I didn't, I'd probably die. So kudos to the vegetarians.
People who I have never heard from before sent me private messages asking when I would update so this is for you guys. I had not planned to update for a few weeks. Now, you're warned, you'll have to listen to this crap:
- Australian meat pies (which I was cooking at the time... so it's scattered around my podcast)
- Walking through the meat section at the grocery store and my feelings about that

Hey boi - sorry I've not listened to any podcasts in a week. Nothing personal. I've just been in a blah mood. Meat-pie? Weenies? I like weenies, mmm mmm good. Don't gross me out Ben! Am I ever going to be able to eat meat again after listening to this podcast? Animal crackers aye? Ben, I thought I was sensitive - OMG, the Animal crackers are not really real. Silly boi. Can I have your wiener Ben? Pot pies? Yes, my dad loved them also. Yes, I like chicken pot pies and if you'll give me your wiener I'll give you a chicken pot pie. I donno about vegemite? What the hell is it? Dr. Pepper is over two dollars? Damn ben. Maybe Nick Thomas needs to send Ben a care package. Is it still winter time in Australia? Lazy bones, sleeping all day makes Ben a dull boy. I need money to. Perhaps I should check my lottery ticket? Oh hell, I forgot to buy one. o Ben, I still like you man. No one is perfect. Don't worry about it.

It is still winter now but last night was the first night that I got to sleep without the heater on in a long time. It will be a bit warmer today and feels pretty good outside so I am thinking I am gonna go somewhere.
"Vegemite is is made from leftover brewers' yeast extract, a by-product of beer manufacturing, and various vegetable and spice additives. The taste may be described as salty, slightly bitter, and malty - somewhat similar to the taste of beef bouillon." So yeah, you can only imagine. I guess when people grow up eating it, it's not so bad but I can't go break out a jar of vegemite and start eating it. I still have yet to figure out what EXACTLY it is.
Don't apologize for not listening to my podcasts. That's OK. I am so behind too because I can't seem to wake up at a decent time. (The files are too big to download during "peak hours" which are 9 am - 1 am.) I need to get up earlier I think.
